I shouldn´t take life too seriously, should I?

Fight! Fight! While I was driving home today I realized that human beings have been fighting since they were born. Some fight more than others, of course. The thing is : we fight from the day we were born. Actually, leaving our mothers womb is pretty difficult. The process of coming to this world can be considered our first fight. However, I came to understand that no matter how much effort you put into something, there are no garantees that you are going to succeed. And that, my friends, is really frustrating for me. Believe me. When I was a child, I belived that if I studied something or practiced something very much, I would really be good at it. Consequently, a "reward" would come. For instance, good grades. But why did I study so much? Why did I keep myself so busy? Because I thought that doing it, I would get a good job which means good money. How naive I was! Life is not that simple. And I thought that all those classes would open the doors for me. What´s the point in learning question tag, inversion and all those things if I don´t even use them? What´s the point of eating lunch really fast in order to have Spanish classes when most of your friends are enjoying the pool at college? In the end, we are all in the same situation no matter how many languages you speak, no matter how much you worked. Life is really not fair. I´ve been thinking about it lately. It´s always the same thing. I come to the same conclusion. I look at the past and I think that I shouldn´t have taken life too seriously. But then again how should I have taken it?

hey sa, you made a mistake in the beginning its spelled realized instead of realised..
by the way its really interesting what you wrote...
i guess you shouldn't have taken your life so serious...yeah of course you need to study to get a good job and everything, but you also needed to have some fun...
for example our body is composed of 3 parts flesh, spirit and soul or mind if that's what you want to call..but what you notice here is that you always want to keep a good balance of all these parts. To be "happy"... for example if you don't have any fun in your life then it would be exhausting to go on...and if your spiritual side of your life which is the most important, say maybe you think you're far from God or maybe your conscience is making you confused, then you should try to solve that with the word of God which is the bible...for instance keeping a good fellowship will help you a lot to go through any spiritual hardship...just think that you are hungry and the word of God is bread
Matthew 4:4
4But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

Dear anonymous,
thanks for pointing out my spelling mistake. Thanks to you, I'll never make this mistake again. I believe that we are not completely happy in this world. We can have some happy moments but we are not going to achieve complete hapiness in this world for it is just a shadow of the kingdom that is to come. Happiness for me doesn't mean money. Growing up is not sth logical or that can be totally planned.
